It’s my mother’s birthday today.
If not for her, I’d know not the world I live in. If not for her, I’d never know sweetness and love. If not for her, I’d never appreciate tolerance and groundedness.
There are so many ways to say I love you, but only one way encompasses them all – I love you, Mum. Thank heaven for giving you life, and giving me you. =)
It’s the long weekend this week. No work Monday. Kinda sad, because I like working. Had a really productive day at work today – had to rush many things because of deadlines and our strong admin staff going on holiday, leaving me to manage the forte. My boss trusts me; she told me to go through the stuff with the admin staff.All the staff at work turn to me for advice and trust me to do work, and it’s a great feeling when your team believes in your abilities and supports you, the way I intend to support them too. We’ve got a great set up at work, seriously!
Work is fantastic; feels real good to do your work right, know what you’re doing and being recognised for it. FANTASTIC!
I told my boyfriend what I was going to give him for his birthday. Well, one of it. He’s excited and can’t wait for it. Only a handful of people people know what that gift is. I can’t wait for his Birthday in June! *winks* I LOVE YOU JON! *grab and kiss*
